Indeed, the Führer was saved from drowning in a river in Passau, Germany, in January 1894 by a priest when he was only 4 years. This information was discovered in an article found in a German archive that is a story told by the priest Max Tremmel in 1980. Latter said that his predecessor Johann Kuehberger told him that he had saved Hitler when the Nazi leader was a child. Residents of Passau, where Hitler grew up, also said this story.
