José Mujica, the current President of Uruguay is an outstanding politician. Indeed, it gives 90% of his monthly salary of 12,000 dollars to charities to help the poor and young entrepreneurs.
Not only he donated almost his entire salary, but he gave up the presidential palace "Suarez y Reyes" and he drives a very old Volkswagen Beetle. José Mujica has been described as the world's poorest president.
It is perhaps the poorest, but it is also the most generous of Presidents
