The word strike comes from the Gallic word engraved indicating thick sand. At the 17th century, the Right Bank from the Seine in Paris with given rise to a place called place of the Strike because the place was submerged of coarse sand, this place was a place known for the gatherings of the unemployed in order to find employment appropriatenesses from where the appearance expression “to make it burdens” which meant at the time “searching work”. At the 19th century, the significance of this term changed such as one knows it today and who announces the temporary and collective stop work expressing a dissatisfaction.
